About Edwin F

Began to DJ in San Francisco, CA in mid 1980’s birthdays, weddings, Christmas parties. Moved to DJ small-mid size clubs in SF, using vinyl and MK1200 Turntables. Learned from listening to great DJs in that time. Focused on laying out tracks and timing in mixing with harmonic melodies in mind. Friends Mind Motion, Eric, Raul x2 taught me a lot during this time. Moved on with a separate career but I always stayed with mixing in my mind. (I used to buy vinyl from Bobby G). Over the last few years, I have picked it up again with a Roland 505 deck and Serato as a hobby only. I like my mixes to sound even with small imperfections and more organic, resembling when I used bare turntables. Mixing new and old playlists with a twist. Now a DJ Studio user since Jan 2025 and I love it !
