What are the accepted currencies?

You can pay with USD, GBP or EUR.

Can I cancel my account at any time?

Yes, if you decide DJ.Studio is not for you, you can cancel at any time, you can keep using DJ.Studio until your subscription expires.

What online payments are accepted?

DJ.Studio accepts all major credit cards, including Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover and Diners. Payment via Paypal is also available.

Are the prices inclusive of tax?

Yes, these prices include any additional tax charges.

Do you offer any discounts or promotions?

If you enter a Mixed In Key VIP code, you get 1 month free on any DJ.Studio plan.

I don't like having a subscription. Can I purchase a one-off license?

Yes, that is possible. We offer a one-off payment option for both plans that offers a perpetual license of DJ.Studio for one user on two machines, along with 12-months of automatic updates, and pro-level support.

At the end of that period, DJ.Studio will keep running on your machine, but you won't receive any new updates anymore.

In 12 months we will have an maintenance package available which is priced attractively so our long term users can buy additional updates for an additional period.

Do you have a referral program?

I already have Mixed in Key, do you have any promotions?

Yes, when you buy a DJ.Studio plan and you enter a valid MIK VIP code, you get 1 month of DJ.Studio for FREE.

Will there be a subscription started automatically when the free trial ends?

DJ.Studio's free trial is really a free trial, you don't have to enter any payment information. When the free trial ends, you can't use DJ.studio anymore and can't access your mixes. The free trial will not turn automatically into a paid subscription. That only happens when you click the Buy or Subscribe button yourself.

How does upgrading work

You can start with the license that you want. If you want to upgrade to a higher license, you only pay the prize difference.

Why does the one-time license only includes 1 year of updates and support? 

At DJ.Studio, we are committed to providing continuous improvements and reliable support for our users. Unlike some other software companies that bundle all new features into major paid upgrades (e.g., Ableton 11), we release updates regularly throughout the year. With a one-time license, you benefit from 12 months of exciting new features included in your purchase.

For example, last year we introduced major features like stem separation, VST support, an FX Pack, improved beat detection, and many smaller updates. All of this was available to our users without any extra costs during their update period. This approach ensures you receive constant improvements and more value over time.

In addition to updates, we also offer dedicated support:

• Our support team is available 18 hours a day, and most inquiries are answered within a few hours or, at the latest, within 24 hours.

• We provide detailed video tutorials on YouTube to help you make the most of DJ.Studio’s features.

Maintaining this level of innovation and service requires ongoing investment, which is why updates and support are included for the first 12 months and can be extended afterwards with an optional update package.

If you decide not to purchase updates and support after the first year, no problem! You can continue using the version you have at the end of your update period without any restrictions.
